Hello all,
I currently have a couple BoA cards, an AMEX Plat & BCP, and Chase SP.
I was looking for a new card, thinking about the Capital One Quicksilver or Discover It next...
Thoughts?

I think your current cards are better than the two of those long term.
Thank you. I figured the same...That being said, which cards would you reccomend I look into next?
Keep in mind that given your interest in the Quicksilver,.a Chase Freedom Unlimited pairs up nicely with your Sapphire Preferred. However, if your objective is to add a new bank or two, that doesn't help you.
A Citi DoubleCash card would give you better rewards than the Quicksilver. But with its lack of a foreign transaction fee, the Quicksilver is a better card for traveling outside of the USA, and it's almost certain to give you a higher limit than the DC.
Discover is a great card during its first year, but its luster wears off after that. If you're looking for the equivalent of a sign-up bonus, it becomes a good choice.
See, I am glad I asked!
Yes, I am looking to establish other fruitful relationships, hence considering DC & QS.
I never thought about Citi doublecash. Ill look into it. Thank you!
If you have the CSP, and you are serious about using UR for travel purchases, the Chase Freedom is what you want. Cap One = Triple Pull, Chase will usually pull two. If you want your travel points in MR to pair with the Platinum, an Amex revolver that pays in MR points is the ticket. No pull at all to get that.
I subscribe to the pokemon method of cards "gotta catch them all". If you don't have a discover, get one. Aside from wallet astetics, Discover is a great card to have if you need/want large credit lines. They build fast, and don't often give you a decrease for lack of spending. Also if for whatever reason you use the full credit line for a month or 6, Discover isn't often scared off by it.

I'd be careful with generalizing, it's very much YMMV with Discover. Some people get 10K off the bat with a spotty record, others struggle to get past 5K with a perfect file. Bottom line is if you aren't what they're looking for then all bets are off.
OP, it sounds to me like additional cards for you are wants and not needs. That being said, my recommendation which may go against the grain here is to not apply for anything and just roll with what you have now.
If you come across a product that offers a clear benefit above/beyond what you currently have, that may be a reason to pull the trigger.
Nothing wrong with QuickSilver if you just want another card.
