Hello all. This may be better in the bankruptcy forum, but figured I'd ask, in the case that anyone has any experience. I'm about 4 months away from completing Ch13. I wanted to get a jump on rebuilding, and got approval from trustee for a secured card not exceeding $500. I have a good relationship with Capital One, and also a decent size savings account with them. I constantly get their mailers for invitations to apply for various products of theirs. Has anyone had any luck with them approving for a secured card while currently in bankruptcy? Or do their terms dictate that you must be post discharge?
thanks in advance!
Hello, I was discharged from bankruptcy and just got approved for my secured card from Capital one. I did $500 credit limit and the loan officer I'm working with trying to buy me a house suggested that they were the best ones and they approved me.
