I hope you folks don't mind it if I share this.
Until an hour or so today, I thought I had a Walmart Rewards Card with a $5,000 credit limit. I thought I could only use it at Walmart.
It turns out, through me doing some research, that I actually have a CAPITAL ONE Walmart Rewards Card wth a $5,000 limit. I can use it internationally. It's a Mastercard.
I never knew, until today, that I got "upgraded."
Sometimes, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed ;- )
Congrats!
Thanks! I wasn't sure if I should have placed this in "credit card approvals" because it's a card I've had for a long time.
This is not the first time I have heard this. I have a co worker who didn't know she had a Walmart MasterCard but thought she had a store card until I looked at the card and informed her.
My question to the OP, didn't you look at your card and see the MC logo?
I wasn't very observant, actually. I really should have been. I was grasping for straws about a year ago. $5,000 extra in credit limits would have made me feel much better.
Fortunately, now, I'm out of credit card debt.
Congrats on your new discovery! Now go spend with wild abandon at non-Walmart stores.
Thanks!
Are the MC logos hidden on these cards or just holographic like on the Savor MCs?

They're visible.
When you apply to this card it says "We will consider for a Walmart store card also" so may be it approves you for both and later just stick to the MC variant? I dunno as I don't have this card but their Pre-Q page says so
