I just got an email.
Please check yours.
Who sent the email? Cap1 or Plastiq? I have received anything yet.
Edit: email just came thru from Plastiq.
Has anyone have success using Citi MC products, such as the AA and AABIZ? I once used the AAdvantage for a car payment using Money Gram and was charge a CA fee, so I have been hesitant to repeat the use of pay apps etc.
I'm guessing that Plasytiq codes transactions as actual charges, so as not to incur card fees?
With Cap One's move, i wonder how many others will follow?

Citi is really good with regards to plastiq especially since they are on the MC network. No cash advance fees I have ever personally had.
W/regards to Cap1 I believe that is due to 4% (believe targeted) cash back things if i recall reading here or another place why they are temporarily blocked...

Same here. No issues with Citi MC. Since DC became a TYP currency, I've been charging what I used to put on the PPMC/Debit combo. I get a good number of Plastiq promos to reduce the fee also, so I'm hoping for at least 100k TYPs per year from Plastiq charges.

I guess it could be that because of the relative ease you can put charges on Plasiq, but if you are going to "abuse" 4% there are other fairly easy and cheaper ways. And this would block "good" users with other Cap One cards who have been using it regularly
