Capital One quickie

First I'd like to say I've learned too much from this website, I'm now back on my way to perfect credit.

As for Capital One, I paid down my two credit card balances to 1% utl using my high credit balances as the limit guide.  Now Capital One seems to take forever to update the CRAs on my balances.  Has anyone ever called them to have them report the balances to the CRAs immediately?  I'm hoping I don't have to wait until the end of the month to see my new score, I have MyFico monitoring to stay on top of updates.

Any advice, recommendations, etc., are greatly appreciated, thanks.

Re: Capital One quickie

My card got paid off 7-23 in July my statement was the 18th due date aug 13th

I decided I want to change my due to the 26th giving me a new statement date of the 2nd.

so here here we are aug 18th, while there is a place for my aug 2nd statement it hasn't been generated yet

Re: Capital One quickie

Capital One can be a useful card to reestablish & increase your credit rating .
However Capitol One is very much a PREDATOR   with their credit cards.
1. They don't show credit limits & this can hurt you as it can easily lead to you showing 100% maxed out in  your limit ,thus effecting your fico score.
2. Capitol One likes to raise interest rates .
3. Capitol One doesn't like to negotiate or deal with issues if you fall behind in payments ,forget GW or PFD as it won't happen .
Myself I had to get the BBB involved an even consult a lawyer in regards to some late payment fee's that they were trying hard to nail me on .
They backed way off after it looked like  a lawsuit was going to happen .

Yeah, with them it's like a chain reaction.  One bad thing happens and it's a downward spiral and before you know it, if you have a small CL like I did, you're double your CL, they've maxed out the interest rate and they're closing the account.  Your balance then quadruples and they sell the account like crazy.  They do refuse to work with you.  I despise them and wouldn't get a card from them if it meant I would be doubled over with hunger pains for an entire month before my ultimate death.

Re: Capital One quickie

All I want Cap One to do is update the balances on two credit card accounts, and it seems like they take forever to update the bureaus.  I'm going to see it its possible to contact MyFico or TrueCredit  and ask them to get Cap One to update their information ASAP without disputing the accounts.  I have their credit monitoring, so I assumed the accounts should be updated often.
