No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Maybe I searched incorrectly, but I didn't see anything asking this, so here goes.
Simple question - can you have 2 of the same exact card with Capital One?
Wondering because I currently have the SavorOne, but likely bucketed with just a $300 limit, but when I run the preapproval - it shows the Quicksilver and/or SavorOne as options (the "for good credit" versions)
Thanks for any insight - as always!!
"Capital One will allow you to have only two of its personal credit cards open at once as of 01/23. This is a hard rule and cannot be overridden. This does not apply to Capital One's co-branded store cards". Look for a better card and avoid the triple pull. Once more cards come in. You cancel and re-apply one day. You dont want two bucket cards.

I had two quicksilvers but they were auto-PCs from other cards over time, so not quite the same as apping for one.

I've seen a couple other posts mention the 2 card limit within the last few months so I guess if there is hard limit at 2 that means either the CSRs don't know what they're talking about or they lied to me when I called in and told me it's credit profile dependent.

Its been as high as 5 yrs ago. All this talk 2 and 3. Bucket cards have been 2 for a while. Went to look for the answer. Forgot the add the link above. Edited.
I have 2 QS that I got within a year of my BK7. I'm pretty sure they're both bucketed (3K and 5.5K). I also app'd and got a Savor about a week ago (3K limit). So I think it's profile dependent.
I'm going to use the Savor for the sub ($3,000 in spend gets you $300), but after that it's sock-drawered.
