Car Repairs - travel or misc?

Will shortly have to pay for car repairs. Deciding which card to use.

Any chance that car repairs will fall under travel (in which case I'll use the CSR)? If not, I'll use the DC.

My dealership just coded as automobile/other (*IIRC) on propel, pretty sure its going to be rewarded as misc.

* I tried to double check but WF is not currently showing me category codes on posted transactions (half the time I check posted trans on the app the category is listed then randomly later no categories are shown)

On the plus side, there's a pho place near the car repair shop (Silver Spring, MD).

I'll let you know for sure in about 8-10 days when statement cuts and see if I get 3x points from it, but I'm not holding my breath

I'd bank on it coding as Misc, but could you buy something small as a test ahead of time? My mechanic sells air fresheners and assorted accessories, for instance.

I really wish there was a card that offered automobile repair/mechanincs or auto parts stores as a bonus category.  I've been on the lookout for one for a few years now, but have yet to find one.

Anyone out there know of one please let let me know!

There are a few manufacturer-specific cards, as well as store cards for parts retailers. Any particular brand?

I put a few automotive things on CSP and CSR over the years but I don't think any ever counted as "travel".
