Are any of my cards especially well-suited for Venmo (adult consumer-to-consumer, nothing for business), in terms of earning rewards and avoiding cash advance fees? Transactions will be small and infrequent, so I don't mind paying a 3% fee so long as I'm getting some sort of rewards.
My cards:
Personal spend: Amex Gold, Amex Schwab Plat., BofA PR+CCR(x2), Costco
Business use: Amex Bus. Plat., BBP, Lowes Amex AU, CFU AU
Perks: Delta Plat., United Explorer, IHG49, Hyatt, "Old SPG"
Mostly SD: Freedom Flex, Freedom, Arrival
Upgrade/Downgrade games: ED, BCE

well surely the venmo card offers this fee free, a reasonable person might think.

well, that's not helpful, definitely would like to know this as well.

This really doesn't seem like the sort of spending that would require its own card, even if a suitable one existed... Just try to minimize any fees!

I used the Venmo Visa Credit Card for sending money to others fee free.....But.....always a but......Venmo now charges the 3% fee just like any other cc you have linked to your Venmo acct.
You do have this other option to send money fee free to your Venmo Friends & Family- Amex Send (monthly cap $2k-$5k-ish) ETA: Your Gold card may be a good one.
I thought my original post was sufficiently clear. I'm not looking for a new card. I'm looking to pick a card for these transactions from among the cards I already have.

Clear enough....that's why I suggested your Gold card.
1. to avoid any CA fee
2. the 3-2-1 is built in
(your BCE might be a good match as well)
I don't think you're going to find a card that has both no-fee on the Venmo side and still has rewards, but I'd love to be mistaken... if there is one hopefully someone will speak up.
Myself, I use my Amex BCE. There are no rewards, but there's also no fee since I use the Amex Send account feature that links the two (Amex and Venmo). I probably use Venmo two or three times a year and always for a small amount (usually under $20) so avoiding the fee is more important to me than earning rewards.
