Well, I am planning a trip to WDW in Dec so with Christmas and the balance on my trip I can put the $3K on pretty easily. It doesn't look like I can cover even half but I have about 34K in point on my Amex. So if I can find a carrier to move those to plus either the $400 credit or another option with sign up bonus. My DD got an offer for 50,000 Citi cards American Airlines but I haven't checked to see if they are partners. She would need $3k in spend there too.

Get one with no foreign transaction fee.Does that matter when purchasing international air fare? I have Cap1 QS which I believe does not have fees.
Doesn't sound like OP is traveling with daughter so FTF doesn't matter unless he's sending a card with her. OP what about Chase Sapphire Prefered? I know you can transfer the points to British Airways and it looks like you already have a relationship based on a few of your other cards?
Correct, she is going with her college for a class. So I will not be going. I will probably send her with cash and one of my cards that does not have fees for her to use. Everything is inclusive in her class fees so it will just be for spending $ for herself and in case of an emergency.
United Mileage Plus has several international partners. I flew to Kyiv via Lufthansa in Septemeber and all of my United benefits applied.
