Is there such a thing? I'm curious because ive been reading about how AAoA is calculated and it seems to be based on "reported" tradelines and i've read about some cards that don't report.
Most cards report at least occasionally. Some smaller issuers don't report to all 3 bureaus or don't report every month. Generally, for credit development purposes you want cards that report frequently to all three bureaus. Also, cards that don't report don't help you build credit or help buffer your utilization.
Some lines of credit don't report. For example, PayPal's bill me later service does not report. I think the PayPal Extras MasterCard does not report either (think I read this but not sure). Bear in mind that any card that does not report is not helping you develop a thicker positive credit file while they will still hurt you if you miss payments/etc (not to mention hard iniquiries when you get them). I don't know of a list of cards that don't report, but maybe others can help you with it.
There are some tradelines that do not report to the CRAs and would not be subject to the AAoA methodology and thereby no impact to utilization such as the PayPal Credit by Comenity (formerly Bill Me Later), Tiger Direct, New Egg, etc. There are other premium credit card products that have similar non-reporting behavior such as the JPM Select CC (no longer available) or the JPM Palladium card - the only time any of these tradelines would report is in the event they become delinquent.

The PayPal Extras MC, PayPal Smart Connect account and/or eBay MC (all SYNCB products) DO report to the CRAs. These are standard tradelines.

Amex cards can actually help your AAoA because of the backdating behavior.
If sufficiently backdated. It all depends on one's AAoA versus MSD.
