No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
We all know how some credit cards cut you off if they aren't used in a certain length of time so I am assuming Care Credit is different?
I mean, are we going to be penalized for not getting sick and stuff? Just curious as I took a pet to the vet and decided to open an account. Anybody with Credit Care experience please chime in as I'd like to know how long you have gone without using it. Thank you.
I went 1 1/2 years no problem. I wondered the same thing so bumping post.

I just applied today, was disappointed with the CL but the vet only charged me $42 and I was expecting much more so I didn't even use it today. I'll have to put something on it to justify having it. I might just get a teeth whitening done
$7500 CL here... Had the card a year. High balance $300 after a dermatologist treatment... Balance $0.
Use it every month for my dog's nails and every 6 months for a supply of flea preventative.
My plan is to use it later for dental work... In the meantime will keep it active.
We also have a animal recue shelter here. I think I might talk to them and look into a donations of products if they have a vet that works with them and takes CareCredit.

call tomorrow and you can request CLI through automated system... many times it gives more next day from initial limit issued. Ask for $20k, it counters.

But it's a HP, right?
not within days of getting approved... but future CLI's they are one of the few GE cards that do HP for customer requests almost always

Mine was closed for non-use after it sat in my sock drawer for a year. I used it early last year for some dental work and not touched it since, and I received a letter in the mail about a week or so ago saying that were closing it due to inactivity.
