Carecredit, how often to keep it open?

I got it over the summer and it's very quickly approaching the 6 month mark.  I've haven't used it yet, but I do plan to.  I follow the 6 month rule with everything else.  But for this card I know people say 6 months, but I've seen others say a year.  I don't have a RiteAid in the area.  What do you guys think?

I would not allow any card go more than 6 mos without usage.

I didn't use mine for a year and they decreased my CL from 18k to 6k. I would try every 6 months though.

Every six months is enough to keep it open.

No big deal if you don't have a Rite Aid close by.  Call your local Vet and see if they take it.  Many do.  If so, go in and buy the cheapest thing they have at the front desk like a dog collar or a cat fur comb.  Swipe registered and you're all set for another 6 months.

I'm not sure if you were eyeglasses or contacts but I will go in every 3 or 4 months to my eye doctor and purchase a few boxes of the blink tear eye drops I use and some eyeglass cleaner.  $20-$25 bucks for something I need anyway and it also serves the purpose of keeping the card active.
