Have venture card went from 5k to 10k via contacting EO back in December. Have tried the luv button but always denied. I don't really use the card at all, since the rewards are better on my other cards. What are the chances if I contact EO that they would give me a credit line increase on the cap 1 card without me having used it very much for the last 8 months? The reason for the credit line increase is that I need the help with my overall util. I moved some of my chase credit over to open a biz card and early next year I will be closing some AF cards that do not offer a downgrade and I will be unable to move those lines over to other cards. I figure I will be downgrading my cap 1 card and keeping it open long term so it would be nice if it could help me with util in longrun.

I'd say not very likely. Cap 1 has been known to decline CLI's when there's been little or no activity.

What would be sufficient activity for them to issue a CLI? I'm not going to run up 10k a month on the card but could do 400-500 for a couple of months to show some activity. Otherwise I guess I will be stuck at the 10k indefinetly.
