Chas Amazon.com card.

I have had the Chase Amazon.com platinum card for about two months now and really like it. What I don't get is that I have a Chase Freedom card that has a limit of $5,000 and the Amazon has a CL of $1,000. My fico score is 736. Is it because I have 4 other cards (not including the Amazon card)?

I applied for Amazon Biz card when my scores were 706 and they declined my application.

Are these the only two products you have with Chase? If you have other Chase products you might try combining. In the end Chase really likes you to use your cards.

I pushed through a lot when I first got them. They have been generous with CLI, and I was able to get the Disney Visa, and the Seamiles (CHASE NOT JUNIPER) combined into this card. LOVE IT!

I have nothing but love for them. if you use the card, they will increase. I maxed mine out one month with cruise and computer and some other stuff, paid it off from my savings, and called for a CLI. They approved it right then and there! I put them at the top of my favorite card list!

Have purchased free WII games for the kids with my certificates!

miahmarie, when you maxed it, PIF'd, and called for a CLI, did they still do a hard inq? Just curious, because that's one thing that you always read about Chase: CLI request = hard inq.

Re: Chas Amazon.com card.

I think they gave me only a 1,000 credit limit is because they saw that I applied for two other credit cards about 5 months earlier and was approved for both.
