Chase 5/24 rule question

Hello all,

I was curious to know if for example you open 5 accounts within 24 months but you decide after one year that 2 of 5 accounts no longer fit your needs and you close the accounts. Will the 5/24 rule still apply even though 2 of the 5 accounts opened are now closed? Will Chase look at the new accounts the same open or closed?

Hopefully my question isn't confusing and I appreciate your feedback

Re: Chase 5/24 rule question

I should have gone for my CSP in April and I would have been good. Guess I'll wait another 12 months.

Re: Chase 5/24 rule question

Chase 5/24 love and hate

1)Will have people waiting to be eligible therefore making their cards more desirable.

Or

2)Will have people look past them and forget they existed.
