Just got an email about Chase Amazon:
"LTL, you're in for a treat with your holiday shopping"
Great, I can do with a treat. Let's see.
Use your Amazon Rewards Visa Signature Card on everything you buy to earn unlimited rewards
5% back at Amazon.com (including gift cards) and Whole Foods Market with an eligible Prime membership; otherwise 3% Back
2% back at restaurants, gas stations and drugstores
1% on all other purchases
Amex has been my go-to for Amazon. I've gotten a few "30% off when paying with at least 1 MR" promos, as well as +8x MRs up to 3k ($375 spend) on my BBP.
With Chase I'm thinking its better in some ways to have less cards. Concentrates the spend and offers. Lower utilization risk per card.

In other words, the standard card benefits! Thanks Chase.
Sadly that email probably prompts enough non/limited-users of the card to use it more, perhaps because they don't realize that it's not a better deal than any other time.
Lol I got the same e-mail this morning and was awfully confused for a minute. Then it went in the trash.
