Chase CSP and CSR - New Benefits Starting August 16

Not sure if already posted but just recieved and email of CSP new points. $50 hotel credit yearlyif purcchased through Ultimate Rewards, 3x points on dining, streaming and online grocery purschases and 10% anniversity point boost.

So now  the preferred with the 3x on groceries  and anniversary boost does it make it better than the gold Amex ? Asking I do allot of groceries

It will be 3.1x (Chase adds 10% points after the first year, with much smaller AF vs Amex Gold). I will downgrage BCP to BCE next year to get rid of its AF. Afterward, I will use 5% quarterly cards (for 2 quarters), BOA Custom Cash Rewards (3% *1.75x (plat honor) -->5.25%; pickup groceries), CSP (3.1x) or BCE (3%) to do groceries.

I'd say if you can find value in the $120 Uber credits and free Uber eats membership, the Amex gold is the better card; however, the CSP has a better signup bonus and is a compelling card with the $50 hotel credit.
