Has anybody experienced Chase closing your credit card account. I called chase immediately to reconsider their decision. A few days later I noticed under my credit card account tab it is no longer showing the account is closed, but it has 0 available credit. Does this mean the account is still closed or is it reopened with no credit available? So confused about this haha
Thank You!
Call the automated system and see whether the available credit changed at all. If it says $0 then it's likely the closure stayed in place or you may need to contact the portfolio risk review folks to see when (and if) the account's available credit will be restored. Was your account closed due to Adverse Action?

It means it's still closed. It's not going to be reopened.

Thanks for the info. I checked this morning and the available credit was restored. Looks like the account is reopened.

Congrats on your account being reopened, looks like you dodged a major headache with Chase.
Too many inquiries and new accounts in a short period of time. 3 new accounts and a few inquiries within the past two months.
