Emails are slow, but these promotional earnings and feature changes are automatic, there's no sign up needed. So you don't need an email to start using them today, no "Freedom Activate" step involved.

"Everybody gets a new car!"

So it's not a targeted offer?

It's for everyone. No activation need. Email will probably go out next week.

This is on the extra stupid side for me.

With AR being uncapped, I dont need a grocery card.

Because I dont need it, I now have 5 or 6

That's quite normal for me.  Well, not the sweating part.  I am like Prince Andrew as far as that goes.

Perfect, I closed Gold now I can get 5x grocery until July.

There is nothing wrong in accumulating some travel point to use later on.  I'll chalk up 2020 as a accumulation year for future travel and we will travel again.

this beats 12x Hilton and 4x delta.

Chase responded to my secure message, confirming that this is available to everyone with a CSR.  Except me.  Oh, "that's because your card number + CVV is divisible by 1984732 so you are excluded"   But I suspect that's just an excuse as it isn't!

Agreed!  I can get 4.5 MRs in EDP but I'll take the 5 URs any day.  EDP is getting non cat spend at 1.5 MRs (equal to 3% at least for me) and Gas stations (3 MRs or 6%) which is plenty.  I'm an essential employee and plenty of spend at work codes as gas.
