Re: Chase Credit Card Strategy Help

Did your ex have a joint depository account with you at Chase or any of the banks they acquired?
I'm only asking because Chase approves plenty of people with negatives, especially older ones.
If you were denied for negatives on your CR, work on those if any remain
If something is tripping their internal records, that could be an uphill battle

Re: Chase Credit Card Strategy Help

To get further help, you will need to provide the exact reason(s) for the denial as stated in the adverse action notice you received in the mail from Chase.

Re: Chase Credit Card Strategy Help

It has a range of APRs. No CL or single APR

My ex and I had a joint checking which was closed in good standing. She had a CC but I was not a user and it was never on my credit report.

I don’t think I ever actually received the hard copy denial in the mail. I only received the immediate response that I was denied.

Thanks. Would the offer I might receive at a branch be different than checking the prequals online?

I'm a Chase banking customer.  I never get prequals online.  I've had 2 in-branch pre-approvals for CSP and CFU.
