Hi there....I just got the Chase Marriot Rewards, Hyatt Credit Card, and Sapphire Preferred, and while these are all great cards, one thing that disappoints me is that there doesn't seem to be a way to get a notification on your phone when you use the card. One of the things I love about the Amex Passbook app is that it gives you a push notification every time you charge something to a card. This makes it super easy to remember the amount of a charge, at a restaurant for example, when you try to keep track of your spending for an evening out.
Has anyone found a solution for push notifications on Chase credit cards?

What I ended up doing was installing the Chase app and setting up alerts there (it will let you set an alert for transactions over $1 which will trigger on all purchases). One of the delivery methods is push notifications so it won't flood your text messages or inbox. ![]()
You can set it up under account alerts to notify you of a variety of things, including new charges
Thanks, I feel silly for missing that now.
One other question...I've seen in the forums stories of Chase cancelling accounts suddenly when you open too many rewards cards together. Should I be worried about opening three Chase rewards cards in th esame month? I wanted to concentrate all of my INQs into a short period of time.

Please don't let threads about account closings scare you. Many people have opened 3 Chase accounts quickly and have no problems. As long as you aren't doing anything stupid with their accounts or others you won't have any problems. Go focus on meeting the spend requirements and enjoy your rewards.
