Chase Credit Cards

Amazing! Chase CSRs informed me I could NOT modify or convert my Chase Flexible Rewards Visa Credit Card because it was a Providian Visa and then a WAMU Credit Card (yes I had been bad). Then thanks to this website I app'd thru the Master Card website and obtained a Chase Freedom Master Card. Again, I was told it could not be converted to a Chase Freedom World Master Card. Then low and behold it is converted to a Chase Freedom Visa (July 2014). Again the Chase CSRs informed me it could NOT be converted to a Signature card (note CL was $13.5K). In frustration I utilized the Chase SM and was able to convert my Chase Freedom Visa to a Signature account. Alas no EMV Chip. The Chase CSRs informed me my Freedom Master Card had included the EMV Chip when converted to the Non-Signature Freedom Card. Again, I went to the Chase SM and requested that my new (July 2014) Chase Freedom Visa Signature Card be converted to include an EMV Chip and the Chase SM sent me the card in an EMV model (which I received it in five business daysSmiley Happy. For all of you that have had the run around with the Chase CSRs, go to the Chase SM and Chase EO as I have had much success. If it had not been for the "myfico website" posters (all of you) I would still be back in the naughty with my 4185 bin number feeling sorry for myself. The big baddie goes clear back to 2001 so what's the deal. For thoses new to credit or rebuilding, fight for what you believe! For those of you who enjoyed the first part of the story, my second part is the Chase Business Freedom Visa started with the same 4185 Bin number.I was again told by the Chase Business CSRs nothing could be done with the acoount. Using the exact same process as the Chase Freedom Card, I was able to convert my Chase Freedom Business Ink Cash Rewards account to a Signature version. Thank you Chase SM! As far as I am concerned the Chase CSRs are for the simple questions as since 2005 they have never been able to assist me. Both of my accounts date back to 2005-2006. There are great resoruces in the Chase backroom if we can only get to them.

I generally always choose SM for any website since there is less of a chance of getting it wrong since you cant hear accents any anything else.

Chase SM is one of the best imo.  Got the run around with Citi SM and Bank of america's though Citi's CSR has been fantastic from my experience
