Chase Freedom CLI

Just wondering since I got a new Chase card. How long should I wait before I request a CLI? I've only had it for a month but I'm planning on waiting 6mths then requesting. I have a 1000 CL and I use it just a little then PIF. Anyone aware of their history. I would prefer to upgrad to a Signature in 6mths which requires 5000 CL.

Wait at least 6 mos, then call for cli. Chase does HP for cli requests.

Thanks for the info. HP for a CLI? that sucks. I wonder if I should just let them auto CLI? Do they do that? If that's the case I'll request an upgrade on my BOA card in 6mths to Visa Signature and let Chase auto CLI. Any feedback on this method?

Chase does auto CLI, yes. I have a few cards with them, and each card has been receiving 15-30% CLIs over the last two years or so. Usually every three to six months or so.

I've herd, that Chase does auto CLI's, but I have had one for five years I have their card.

BOA has never "harded" me for CLI's.

Why are you so eager to get Signature card?

Just want the benefits of a Signature card since I always get turned down for AMEX cards from a tele check issue. I don't really care about CL reporting since I'm done with getting credit cards at this point. The only other card I might get later on down the line is a Discover. Last time I applied with them they turned me down stating that I needed a co-signer.
