Chase Freedom Restaurant?

Is the cash back recognition pretty darn good for this category? Like any and all restaurants should trigger the cash back whether it be McDonalds or some 5 star steakhouse?

Re: Chase Freedom Restaurant?

It was for me!  But the deal ends this month on the 15th I think.  I could be wrong, but sometime around then.  Gas is up next.  I don't drive much so I am SD that card.  Right now the Venture card gets a ton of usage.  I travel so the travel perks is best for me.

Ends on the 30th, not 15th.  Everything is in quarters.  The 15th is when you can  activate your card for next quarter

The rewards are for the whole quarter, so it will end June 30th. On June 15th you can sign up for next quarter categories.

McDonald's and Chik-Fil-A worked for me as did our local BBQ carryout (no dine-in) and a Jamaican carryout.

What didn't work was a bar that serves food...LOL.

This particular bar is attached to a liquor store and a carry-out restaurant so I think the whole establishment ends up coding under general merchandise because the name of the place is under the liquor store.

I had success with other bars, just not this one.

Re: Chase Freedom Restaurant?

Now if we could get a liquor store to code as a restaurant I would have to get the dw to get her own freedom Smiley Wink
