Chase Freedom Unlimited - promotional email -- question!

I got a promotional email from Chase for the Chase Freedom Unlimited.  In the email it stated:

Email intended for: me If you have concerns about the authenticity of this message, please visit chase.com/customerserviceopens in a new window for options on how to contact us."

I'm at 5/24 now, so is this just marketing - or is this a pre-approval?  Do I have a good chance to get the card or will I get rejected?  I have never gotten a promotional email from them before.

@learningtheropesofcredit unfortunately there is no way for us to answer your question based on the portion of the email that you posted.  5/24 would only be bypassed if the offer was showing in your account with a green checkmark or black star offer, with a single APR and just a few boxes to fill in to accept the card.
