Read somewhere if you have a security freeze you still can be pre-qualified with Chase as someone had them walked into chase branch as was pre-qualified for the CSR, etc. Based on their other CC's / Relationship with them.. Know it doesn't directly address your opt-out question, but gets by freezes. Two reasons one can be pre-approved saw form. A) Credit Opt out/in pre screen B) existing relationship with Chase. and they state which one while pre-aproved in branch.
