Chase Offers For Flex?

I see that the Chase offers for the Freedom do not transfer to Flex, which makes sense since a lot, if not all, are Visa deals. Does Mastercard have similar deals? My Cap One and DC cards don't really have equivalents. If not, that's one drawback to PC'ing to Flex. Not a big deal for me, my offers on my CFU were similar, but were not identical.

Re: Chase Offers For Flex?

Good question. My new CFU took a statement to start getting offers. Is there an offer section showing a message that says something like "start using your card to get offers"? My CFU said something like that until they came in a month later.

Yes, My CFU did the same thing.

But since CFF is a MC, they would have their own deals that will differ from Visa deals, that's if MC has a similar program. I can't tell if MC has a similar program, because I have just 2 MCs, Cap One and DC, and Cap One's are in beta and seem thin, and that may be just because those 2 cards are not enrolled in a MC deal program.

Hopefully someone who PC'd/app'd can let us know if there is an offer section that says that message. I incorrectly assumed you had already switched to the Flex. I hadn't considered this (or even the Chase online shopping portal for extra points) when looking at the Flex.

I just noticed it this morning. I had a dropdown to select the card I wanted to view Chase Offers up until yesterday (CFU/CF). It's gone now, and I don't see a replacement for my CFF as of yet.

Re: Chase Offers For Flex?

I PC'd to Freedom Flex on Sunday. My Chase Offers disappeared some time between then and now.

I rarely saw any exciting offers when I had my Freedom, so I'm not really seeing this as much of a loss.

Glad you posted your finding! Noticed the absence and I will quit looking.

Re: Chase Offers For Flex?

I don't have a Flex but I do have a MC with BoA and it has Bank AmeriDeals which are basically the same thing as Chase Offers.  I don't think they're specific to Visa or MC.  With a new account the offers start showing up as usage patterns are determined.

YEAH

Yeah, its hard to say if they are linked to Visa or not.  There are several Chase offers that are duplicated on my PNC and BoA cards (both Visa), that have identical wording. So it seems like at least some of them come from a common source.
