Your statement probably has base points, plus a dining section.  So look at your total spend, you somewhere get 1 UR per $ spent.  Then the dining section is the additional UR per $ for that.

Yeah I spent $501 on that card this month and Got the 10,000 points + 15 from the previous month + 501 on that card. I only spent 2 dollars  so it isn't a big deal on this statement but that would make this card useless for me even ignoring the fact i own a CSP which I might have the same problem

Re: Chase Sapphire Non AF version 2x dining?

So you don't see something like (from my CSP)

+ 1 Point per $1 earned on all purchases 1,340
+ 1 Point per $1 earned on dining 18
+ 1 Point per $1 earned on travel 411

+ 1 Point per $1 on Ultimate Rewards travel 0
+ Bonus points from Ultimate Rewards Mall 123

?

Is there a 0 by dining?   So in my case I earned 36 points on dining, 18 included in the 1,340 and 18 called out as bonus.

OK, so the wording is "all other purchases" as compared to the CSP "all purchases"?   That is strange!  If it is 1x on dining and 1x on everything else, why bother to split them.

Re: Chase Sapphire Non AF version 2x dining?

This is actually a card I've been looking into. Good to see that fast food places also count towards the 2x dining.

Going by what you've posted as your statement I assume that your $5.44 from your Subway is also included in the "all other purchases", and then counted again under dining in order to get the 2x points?
