Anyone wanna bet the csr will be rude (unless the recon is successful in which case the csr will be very understanding?)![]()
I have worked in CS for 10 years in the past. This CSR was completely rude, it has nothing to do with if I'm approved or denied. I knew when he answered the phone that he didn't want to be there and I thought of hanging up but I gave him a chance. He just didn't want to hear my questions at all. The other reps I've spoken with this week have been great even though they haven't given me the proper info. Maybe you shouldn't jump to conclusions when you were not on the call.
So finally my EQ report is updated with the new WF account balances. Also, my new Discover card is now showing on there. Think I should call in again, since I never got anywhere with this? The 2 fraud inquiries are still showing yet.
I apologize for pulling up this zombie post from back in the day, but I just finished reading all 7 pages and I'm dying to find out how this story ends. Junior?
I never did get the recon approved for this card.
With Chase, you can check your application status by calling an automated number:
"Here is the number to call to find the status of your Chase credit card application. Automated application status check : 800-432-3117"
I would keep calling that number, and when it says that your application has been processed, call into the analyst line to talk to a real person ![]()
Edit: Ooopppsss sorry, I should have read the whole thread and realized that this was an old post. My Bad!
