Chase Sapphire Reserve -- when will metal cards be back?

I jumped on the CSR bandwagon about 3 weeks ago and got the plastic card since they had run out of the metal ones (which is how I originally even learned about CSR as I read a story about how popular it was and how the metal card ran out).  Anyone hear any updates as to when the metal cards will be back?  When I got my plastic card there it was written somewhere that the metal cards would be sent out once they got more supply.

Friend just got his the other day and he got the metal core card so they have them back in stock.   How you choose to get one is your choice.  Either wait for them to send it to you whenever or call them up and request it (although they might claim they are still out of stock, which isn't the case).  My friend was expecting the plastic one, but got the metal core one.

I'm pretty sure the metal is back in stock. You might have to call and request one though..

Got my metal replacement yesterday.  It even came in the nice blue presentation box.  

Interesting point...they chagned my account number on the metal card.

Nice!  Did you have to call to request it or just got it automatically?

Too about the account number change, I hope they don't do that to mine as I originally added my spouse as an authorized user  but cancelled when I found out about the $75/year annual fee per authorized user but we kept her card and she uses it just fine.  Would like to keep using it until they send a new batch in a couple years (for exp. date extension).

I received my new card, but it wasn't in the pretty presentation box, but it was metal, so they are definitely sending metal now. I also requested a nickname change on the card, so I am receiving another new one next week, so I will report back IF it comes in the box!
