Large upcoming purchase: engagement ring
21 months @ 0% would be a huge help alongside other recently made larger purchases.
Chase relationship
2+ years checking/ savings account (was my main, but have been SUB chasing elsewhere recently)
1 year CFF $3,000 SL (0% until January, 2200/3000)
4/24 (1/6)
Wells Fargo relationship
<30 days checking account ($325 SUB)
No CC ever
Side notes
Closing AMEX green by 9/23
Closed 5/3 bank checking yesterday
I suspect only my TU FICO8 score will increase in the next 2 weeks, and no other changes in scores for the remainder of the year
If I had the time to let the WF account age, I would. But she said "if you buy me a ring, I'll buy you a jet ski." So... you get it. WF checking will see a few thousand through it per month for mortgage and utilities. The jeweler I am shopping with uses the WF jewelry advantage program (12 months 0%) which is good, but 21 months is better. Figured I could try for the Reflect, but then saw the Edge is now 21 months as well. There just hasn't been many DPs about it here.
How likely is it that based off my relationship with Chase, that they would at least match the SL of my CFF? If they don't, would I be able to transfer some of my CFF limit to a card on 0% promo?
OR
Would I be better off trying for the Reflect since my FICO9 is considerably higher?
Thanks for your replies

Yes, you can reallocate CL
from Chase.

Scores in sig.
Total Util 14% (largely due to AU card)

Chase is not a relationship bank. That being said, the slate will be basically worthless once the initial promo is over. Citi was offering 18 mos. Maybe try with them?

Sorry missed that sig.
Yeah, F9 is higher so it would make empirical sense
to go for the Reflect. In addition,
to the Citi mentioned, BofA has 18 months with the BankAmericard.

Well couldn't that be said about the reflect and simplicity, too? About them being worthless after the promo. I didn't want to app for any new cards being that I'm at 4/24 and had my eyes on the CSP, but I guess she's worth it lol

Everbody got their reason for staying away from a particular bank. Mines BOA. I've had accounts with them in the past and I'm just not interested in going back.

They can always product change to the original Chase Freedom after the 0% period ends.

Yeah, missed that thought. That'd be a pretty good route to take actually.

No, because unlike the slate, if you're looking for a consistent bt card, the other two will continue to have offers. The slate will not.
