Apped with Chase and got a manual review notice. Called in and CSR said that they need my driver's licence and social security card before anything else can be processed.
Went to get my SS card....CAN'T FIND IT! I'm moving soon and already sent a lot to storage there (several hours away) and there's a very good chance the SS card is there. I don't have time to go look for it but could go to the local SSA and request a replacement. Problem is, I think they take 2 weeks to send the card. I do know they will provide an "applied for new card/SSN verification letter." Anyone know if Chase would take that as verification? Given that this is a "fraud" verification according to the letter they sent, I don't suspect they'll be too pleased about me calling in saying I can't find the SS card.
I leave town on business the 15th and won't return until the 24th of June. Chase needs the copies in hand no later than June 23!
Anyone know if this is a good or bad sign for approval, btw? They HP'd EQ and EX the day of the app, meaning they should have the info they need without the verification (so I'm hoping that they wouldn't bother with the verification run-around if they think they'll decline me anyhow).
To wrap this up, I faxed Chase the letter I got from the SSA saying I had applied for a new SS card. They accepted this as proof of my SSN without issue and approved my CSP app!
