Chase blacklisting AU question

Does anyone know if there is a way of finding out if you're blacklisted w/Chase without apping and getting a HP? Like, if you call, can they look you up and say, "yes, you're okay" or "no, you're blacklisted."?

I had a Chase back in the dark ages and can't remember how the acct closed -- probably CO. But about 5 or 6 yrs ago, someone made me an AU on their Chase acct for a short-term usage. I knew little about credit at the time. Even though I haven't been an AU for several years, that acct is still showing up on one of my CR as closed by consumer (or however they word that). (Apparently my friend closed that acct. at some point.)

So, I was thinking, maybe my having been an AU in good status on a Chase CC could zero-out the negative (or possible blacklisting) from the 80s. Has anyone had a Chase CO and then been an AU on a Chase card? Were you able to get your own Chase at some point?

Thanks! Smiley Happy
