Re: Chase cards

Target is another one of those though I like the CLIs Ihave received.  Their lowest interest rate is 17% but its just a souped up stoe card which I keep around for utilization purposes.  The good thing is now, instead of trudging to Target once a quarter to buy cat food that I could get cheaper at Walmart, I can just go to my local burger king or convenience store and add a small charge.

Why 14 months Midnight?

The Chase (United Airmiles) card is the only one I will carry that has an annual fee, as it is my family security blanket (wife co-owns, daughter is AU, used really only for charitable deductions and small and large emergencies, has credit fraud protection).  So I will pay the first annual fee ($60) and let it register on my account as PIF.  Then I will wait a month and discuss the situation.

I am also a minimalist - I would prefer to get an inq for a CLI than get a new card.
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid
