Chase freedom

Hello friends,

I'm looking into this card. I have a score of 664 and 654 from transunion and equifax, respectively. Also a fico score of 680 from walmart. I have one inquiry in the last 12 months. I have a few baddies,  but it was 3 years a go and no lates in that same time frame. Utility is 29 percent. What are my chances?

Re: Chase freedom

Util might be a tad high. Do you have cc's with a year history?

Re: Chase freedom

Cp1(2 cards) about two years old. Walmart about two years old, discover more about 11 months old. All perfect payment history.

Worth a shot.  Regardless, you'll never know where you stand until you apply.  If you're declined, then you can call them for a recon.  Even if unsuccessful, you can ask the credit analyst what you can do to improve your profile in order to be successful next time.

Re: Chase freedom

Yea I kinda agree that the util is a bit high, but I don't think it will stop you from an approval.  It may just hinder you from getting the highest CL possible but with what you have I think you have a good chance.

Cap1 Quicksilver 20K | Chase Amazon Visa 10K | Citizens Bank MC 8K | Citibank MC 5.2K | Discover 5.5K | Home Depot 6K | Bank of America Visa 12K | Best Egg Visa 3.8K | Dell 3.5K |Ally MC 2.9K | Apple 4.5K | Merrick Visa 2.3K | Verizon Visa 250 | Amazon Store 1.8K

Fico Score 8: Equifax 725 | Transunion 742 | Experian 734

Re: Chase freedom

Go for it! And remember if denied, recon. I was approved on recon. I had about 28% UTIL. CSR brought it up when I asked for more than $1000 CL. Needless to say, I didn't get approved for more than a $1000. I would give it a shot.
