Chase strikes again

Got my new Chase Freedom card today. Called to activate it and of course all the information they were getting from Lexis Nexis was really strange and answered have no knowledge on about half of the questions so they promptly closed the 7000.00 cc. Said I did not answer any question correctly. Oh well BoA will give me my new card with a 10,000 cl. I did inform them they were to remove the inquiry from the credit file and promptly told them which cr they pulled and I expected it removed tomorrow. The funny thing is my significant other got a card in the same day and there was no problem. If anybody knows how old Bruce Campbell is please let me know because I've never heard of him and he's supposed to be my brother.

Re: Chase strikes again

Sorry to hear about the Chase card, but on the bright side, you're apparently related to the Evil Dead/Army of Darkness guy!

Bruce Campbell is 49 years old. If you're his brother I'm sure it's news to him, as well as his other brothers.

Re: Chase strikes again

I wonder what triggers the Lexis Nexis questions?   We didn't have to deal with that when we activated mine and DH's cards several months ago.

I shudder to think what kind of stuff they would dig up on us that I won't be able to remember.  I was reading something today about some of the "security" questions a cell phone provider was using (by way of a third party service) to establish identity when setting up online accounts.  Some of the questions related to names of individuals that prior homes had been sold to.  I honestly don't remember the name of the family we sold our home to!

Re: Chase strikes again

Yup, good luck finding my relatives -- I only have ONE person in my immediate family  -- and I have POA for her, so I pretty much know everything about her accounts.

But SHEESH!
