Hey guys,
I'm flying to Amsterdam via Chicago in December and sometimes fly for work. Was wondering what the cheapest or best option card to get for lounge access for someone that doesn't fly so often. My home airport is Nashville so not great options there. I can't get the reserve until next year and I still don't know if I could justify the AF on the reserve.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
By reserve I assume you mean CSR? Look into alt reserve, or IIRC alt connect has first year 0 af and 6 lounge access passes. It also looks points with alt go giving you 4x dining 4x gas/travel and 5x hotels/car rental (when booked through portal
/edit it is 4 passes

2 other options come to mind:
AMEX Hilton Honors Surpass - $ 95 AF, 10 Priority Pass complimentary passes per membership year.
UNFCU Elite - $50 AF, 5 Priority Pass complimentary passes per membership year.

edited because I failed to mention that at least in the past the UNFCU Elite had a mininum $15K SL. I don't know if that is still the case.
You could pass for a Day pass as an option..

Look for a card that gives you complimentary a priority pass, those are usually your best bet.
If by Reserve you mean the CSR, it has a high AF but it is easy to offset that fee with the benefits it offers, the Priority Pass select is one of them, plus the Sapphire lounge by The Club, you would need to PC your Preferred card to get the Reserve, only 1 Sapphire card can be owned.
If you mean the Delta Reserve then you get access to skyclub (10 visits per year) and Centurion lounge access as long as you pay for your ticket with that card. Also has a high AF but if you use the companion pass it is also justifiable.
Reserve I mean CSR and I can't PC for just under a year because my CSP is was approved in April.

You mean just buy a pass at a certain lounge? You know which lounges can do that?
Yes, sorry a typo.
I meant to say Purchase a day pass. You can buy a pass for the airline lounge that you have a flight for that day.
Easier if you just name your airline that you're flying with but here is some info:

I'm flying KLM out of ORD to AMS and same on the way back.
So it should be the Delta Sky Club.
