I know, I am just asking for an FR by playing with the button...haha

Well, I recently got the AMEX HHonors card with a $2,000 limit.

I checked on $4,000 and was approved.

Does this mean I will likely be in good shape for the 61 day 3X increase?

Well I have heard of it letting people go over there limit. However I'm guessing it does not look good to them. I would not try it agian. I have tried $5,000 on my charge cards and all was approved nothing ever happened. I have not tried the credit cards. I would say you should be good for a CLI as long as you stay in good standing with them.

That's one reason I'm glad I got the Zync NPSL in addition to the Delta Gold. If I have to make a large purchase that I'm sure I can pay back that month I shouldn't get into any trouble with them. Although I would check the spending limit before I do it.
