Well, to me, the question "What amount(s) did you put in?" seems to be asking what amount the OP entered in the online form to check their spending ability, not actual spending. Maybe OP can clear this up here?

Thanks for sharing.. But cool off with Amex a bit as most of if not all your threads are about American Express. Cancelling, re-applying, checking spending ability and whatever else you are doing on there you bet they are watching....
