Citi App Status/Credit Analyst

Has anyone apped for Citi cards online? I apped for Platinum Select Card on Saturday, the thing said they needed additional info and to call a toll free number. Called the number and provided the info. It sounded like an outsourced call center. They said they could not give a response till 5-7 days. Does anyone have an alternate number to call that goes straight to an analyst? The number online said to call them for an instant response. Any ideas? Can you get me a number if you have one? Thanks.

Did you try the backdoor number? There's a sticky thread in this forums called backdoor numbers. Give that a shot.
