I just applied for the card, setup the account after I got approved but it keeps telling me this.  I have tried logging in for the past five hours.

Re: Citi Bank Online Access

It's working for me, but the Citi sites seem to have frequent problems (both this and the Thank You site).  Only question is have you been doing things Citi might not approve of on a 5x card?

Edit: see you just approved, so that's a bit quick for AA, even for Citi!

Re: Citi Bank Online Access

i thought by setting up the account after approval that meant i could login to the account online.

Re: Citi Bank Online Access

Do you actually have the card yet and activiated it.  When I got my cap one I could set up the acct but not log in and use it till I actually activated my card.

Just a thought.  Don't know if citi is the same or not.

Re: Citi Bank Online Access

Try clearing your cache, cookies and browsing history.

my citi website was "down" for over a week until I finally cleared my entire browsing history on chrome

if that still doesn't work then I suppose you need to wait for the card.

Thanks for the tip! I'll try it next time I have an issue with Citi online banking website.

Citi really needs to improve the quality of their online banking page. It's more buggy than that of any other bank I have experience with.

They let you make the account right away but the system has to cycle for you to be able to access it. I think I was able to login the day after I got approved.
