@Anonymous wrote:yeah I understand it, business is bussiness, but i may close it if they dont reinstate. I did ask 2 reps though, "hsa this been happening alot lately" they sayd Yes. So likely what your saying might be true.. leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.. Did you keep your Card after that? I understand were all just a number but im actually using my limit (somewhat) not up to its 100% capacity and PIF. limit is higher than 34k so idk, hopefully its one of those capital one thing, but they had a better way to handle it (aka automated). anyway if they dont reinstate, i'll EO if decision stands i'll most likely close it imo. what i get from this, is it started. "Recent" . and will be happening to alot of people and if they dont call they dont get it back, or it actually depends if theres a"review" or not. citi cs is notoriously bad but never had any issues with them before this other than apple pay, waiting for a letter with a pin etc.. Does it look bad if a ccc reduces ur limit and ur others will see that obviously ? domino effect or no in my case because im literally carrying a $30 balance to appease FICO AZEO.. PIF every month. I read it could be a domino effect, but not sure if that would apply in my case.
What's your average monthly spend? Maybe too little use for such a high limit?
@Anonymous wrote:My limit was cut a lot I called in they said they sent request to credit team for reinstatement but they don't work weekends so we'll see.. she said this is an error and it's happening to most cardholders she used the words error, clash. Etc. before you ask, no I don't have any baddies no lates ever, no bad anything ever. FICOS in the 800s... low utility not carrying any balance... anyone have this experience? She said it's some sort of error and they WILL reinstate it but their closed rn until monday... anyone?
Definitely not an error - imo.
I had 850 scores across the board along with low utilization and received a substantial CLD once. High scores and low utilization are not a safeguard against CLDs.
My CLD was a result of not using the card for 6 months. Other posters have experienced CLDs on cards showing monthly use but with minimal spend. CapOne is notorious for low spend CLDs.

Exactly this ^^^.
Citi just CLD'ed my Double Cash for only having minimal use on the card, also for six months.

(I know the OP of this thread has gone @Anonymous, but I figured another data point might be useful if anybody is doubting this is a 'thing' with Citi.)
