Citi CLI questions

I know its been talked about here before, but I am having trouble finding it. In regaurds to CLI's done with Citi, dose anyone know if they have a the same 60 after the account is approved waiting period that AMEX has? I didnt know about this when I tried to get a CLI with my other new AMEX card and was informed of this 60 waiting period AFTER the CLI was denited, even though I told the out of country phone guy several times the account is brand new. One other thing, Citi dose soft pulls on CLIs right?

Re: Citi CLI questions

I think you have to wait at least 90 days with Citi, although I'm not 100% sure. I do know that they have specific wording online when you go to request a CLI that will let you know if it will be a SP or HP. Most people wait for the SP wording, and if I remember right, that happens usually around the 90 days mark?

Re: Citi CLI questions

You can ask for a CLI at any time.  If it's before 6 months it will be a HP.  If you wait 6 months the SP CLI option may appear on your account.  Also this sub forum is for approvals so this thread will eventually be moved.
