Citi Costco Conversion to a Different Citi Card

Hi, 

I initially had a Citi Rewards+ Card which I PC'ed into a Citi Costco Card. Is there a way I could convert it back to Citi Rewards+ Card?

I spoke to Citi Customer Service over the phone and chat, and I was told I cannot PC my Citi Costco card to another type.

Has anyone had success in doing so?

While Citi is one of the most flexible issuers when it comes to product changes, unfortunately their agreement with Costco since acquiring the portfolio from American Express bars product changes away from cobranded Costco cards.
