I love it but it also comes complete with a stingy Cl. They pulled exp for me. At 6 months they did raise it to not quite as stingy but still low. My exp score right now is 770 and I am counting the time to ask for a cli. I run alteast $500 to $1000 on this card every month. I find it not so fun to have watch my balance. I do PIF. What I want is $10K limit and my income does support that. I am planning to pay the IRS with this card on Friday and that will mx it out
If you are eligible, Citi will offer SP CLIs on their website every 6 months I believe ![]()
As to the actual DC card itself, I am somewhat ambivalent. As others have mentioned earlier on the thread, the 1% earned on purchase / 1% earned on payment can be quite a bear sometimes. That and the fact that (IME), redeemed rewards don't actually get redeemed until the next statement after you redeem them, which can also take some of the fun out of it when you finally receive the redemption.
I have other 2% cards that award the full 2% cashback up-front, and some of them can be redeemed much sooner that the statement date, or upon statement closing like Blispay.
