Evening everyone! About a year ago I was able to upgrade my Citi Dividend to a WEMC, with little to no hassle. I was under the impression the Diamond was upgradable to at least a WM. I have called almost everyone at Citi, even their EO and have been told that this was no longer the case. Has anyone been able to upgrade lately? If so, how did you go about it? Thanks!
Bump. Anyone? Please help!
Thanks for your replies! I should add that the Social Media team did contact me today and let me know it was possible. Though they could not disclose the criteria needed to do so. I am not sure if the EO gave me the correct info, as I only spoke with one person. Has anyone been able to upgrade lately? I have been given incorrect information before- even at a higher level, which is why I ask.
I'm not trying to down you or anything, but you say you have a WEMC already with the Dividend. So why is upgrading your Diamond to a mere WMC so important? With WMC/Signature/etc, if you have one, you basically have the benefits, and that's that. I spent a lot of effort getting my Quicksilver upgraded to a Signature and at the end of the day it was a waste of time considering I don't really use the benefits and a few months later got a Cash+ Visa Signature anyway.
I realize using the benefits is an individual thing, but my point is that since you already have a WEMC, I would not worry too much over upgrading the Diamond. You can certainly speak to the social media team or EO again and see what you need to do, but it may just be that accounts have to be "eligible" in the computer and if yours isn't, it isn't. But I wouldn't lose sleep over it either way. Good luck.

Because they are purdy!
@kdm31091 No worries! I always appreciate the time people dedicate to give advice in this forum. I wonder what makes an account eligible or not. I wanted to have similar benefits across my cards, so I don't have to limit spending based on this specific feature. Won't lose sleep, may wait a couple more months... who knows
