It might give you an idea what the card is going to look like.
Ron.
Hi Ron - you have this one right? I'm thinking you have 3 or 4 Citi products... but forgive me... I lost track... lol ![]()
Note, there are two versions of the Citi Dividend World Elite Mastercard. One card as shown in the welcome kit you linked to, and a second card without the PayPass on the front that has silver circles where the regular mastercard circles go in the front lower right corner and "WORLD ELITE" engraved in the back upper right corner. Had the pay pass version and requested the EMV Chip Citi Dividend World Elite Mastercard and received the silver circles card. Truth be told, the benefits (similar to Visa Signature benefits) are great for a traveler. For every day use it has the cash of the dividend card with the same quarterly 5% categories as the regular dividend card and the annual caps. One might also think of it as a status symbol but with so many cards with same or similar status I think it is overblown. Back in the 1970's and 80's people saw few of the "elite" cards and noticed them more. Appreciate the cash as there are no blackout dates yet I have the travel benefits. The no AF is nice too. The card as an EMV Chip card is chip and signature. Why the US banks are afraid to issue chip and pin cards remains a mystery to me.
Please note that while you can get an EMV chip with the Dividend card, there's still a FTF. The card looks nice, but after you blow through $6k of spend on 5% categories, the card is completely useless. You don't even get 1% cash back after you hit the $300 yearly cash back cap.
True on the FTF but there is no annual fee. For myself traveling is a small part of my activites so I would not earn enough cash to offset an annual fee of $95 to $450. Bigger users may find as you know, traveling with an FTF of 3% can eat into one's pocket book rapidly.

Are you referring to my post I didn't see your post about the clarification. After seeing you post and you edited it afterwards so how was I to know. So what is up with the response.
My apologies. Yes, it get's confusing and you were on a different post. Sorry. Appreciate the fact you have seen confusion before. Thanks. I adjusted the other post. Agree on the looks of the card and wish it said "World Elite" on the front. Does catch an eye or two when I actually have to give it to a vendor.
No problems I get confused with my differents posts all the time.
I have both versions also I just wish the emv card had to World Elite written on the front but is one of the nicest looking1 cards in my wallet.
