Citi Offers

I have a Citi card since 25 Feb 2015 and I got on line a pre approved offer with a APR of 17,99% got the card and been using the card, today I check and I got some new offers but now my pre approved offers are 22,99% my over all score only dropped 9 points. I think that is strange since I have a card and building up payment history with Citi and my APR are going up.

Re: Citi Offers

Meh. Citi offers are all over the place. You can always get the APR reduced too.  My online offers always were for the DP 0% for 9 months then 22.9. Then as I started checking online for offers more, the mailers rolled in. 0 for 12 then 19.9 on the DP and DC....then started seeing 0 for 21 then 12.99 on simplicity. Then got 0 for 18 then 13.9 on the DC and i jumped on it.

I have a theory they use one bureau online for prequals and maybe the other two for mailers. Reason I say that is my 13.9 DC they pulled equifax which was my best score with lowest inqs at the time.

Just keep checking and better offers in the mail will come.

I know I can, I just thought it was strange.
