Anybody successful using any of the three for funding the initial deposit to a checking acct and it processing as a purchase?
Citi doesn't allow funding of deposit accounts, Chase charges it as a cash advance no matter what credit card you use, and not too sure on US Bank. The last datapoint I could find on Doctor of Credit about any US Bank card was from two years ago
Be warned you also have to look out for banks that even allow credit card funding to begin with. For some it's a no go before even considering it

Between this thread and this one , it appears you've overextended yourself with spend requirements.
You might want to start pre-paying because you have $11,000 in spend and less than three months to complete it.
I was planning ahead. I don't have any of the cards. I'll get the CSP in August and use it on my property tax.

If you have none of them, I'm curious about the order in which you're planning your apps.
You have one relatively unpredictable lender, one very temperamental when CSP/CSR are part of "spree", and one that loathes new accounts and inquiries

I guess you asking basically the same question last month is part of your planning as well
If I can't fund a deposit acct with these 3 then CSP will be the one I will get. I might also get the Citi Custom Cash. I'll make sure at least 7 days between apps.

Okay, just keep in mind there is a pretty good chance Chase going to do SPs spread over about 8 week period after approval, so don't surprise them too much with additional accounts.
Even if I have the Freedom and they are my primary bank?
The deposit side of Chase does not know/care what the credit card side of Chase does and vice versa. Ask @Remedios how she knows
