Hehehe Citi AA did the same thing, I received a white envelop first and a week later a fancy black box with this instructions ( no CC). My Prestige came with a blue box by the way....

I didn't realize Citi was cheap for their highest end card lol. Anyways was it just me or is this the usual packaging this card comes in? Oh btw it's sure a nice looking plastic card
Same here.
I received my Citi Prestige 3-4 days ago. I did not ask for it to be rushed.
It arrived in a crumpled white envelope inside a FedEx envelope. My first card from Citi. Not that it matters, but the presentation left something to be desired.
I would have preferred Citi to send my card in a crumpled white envolpe coupled with all of the account disclosures and marketing materials electronically. Conversely the money spent on the fancy box, postage, publishing/materials, etc. could have been used to make the card metal.

Yeah they used excessive packaging with every one of my Executive AAdvantage cards. One is still used as my background for mobile check deposits but I would have been fine with the card arriving in a plains envelope.
Frankly, I would have appreciated saving space in the trash bin. It felt excessive. I would prefer better-designed but more minimalist packaging, Apple-style.
This is one funny @$$ thread lmaooo, I was dying reading the comments. For those who asked I never requested it to be expedited and I was quite surprised it came in way too fast like the next day post approval. Oh well I'm glad I at least got the card in a safe and sound condition.

Citi told me they never expedite the first card of an account. Though, it is sent by UPS Next Day shipping by default. It sounds like your card came in the package with all the disclosures, whereas the rest of us got a packet of disclosured, and then a box with the card in it (as well as all the disclosures, again)
